Viscous and leggy, too. Gorgeous floral nose, and oodles of ripe fruit in the mouth. Not picking up a ton of bell pepper, but so what? I sure wish I could get my hands on more of this. 5-13-17-9: 94/100. |

Could easily pass for Bordeaux or (gasp!) Napa Cab currently. I’m putting the cork back in and reevaluating tomorrow. Still shows great promise. |

This is quite elegant and Burgundian. There are lovely blue fruits and some nice spice that builds into the finish (including a bit of pyrazine). Also something mineral in the finish. |

Immediately classic aromas, beef stock, tobacco, pasture, cherry, violets, tons going on, true bottle bouquet. Mid-weigh with a linear profile, crunchy red fruit, tobacco and minerality. Clean, pure, direct profile. Medium plus acidity, furry tannins on the finish, mostly resolved. This will continue to age, though whether it will improve from its current plateau is a matter of personal preference. |

Crunchy cranberries, tart raspberry and pungent sandalwood from attack to finish. Something herbal appearing by the finish along with a touch of licorice. While I know this is an earlier drinking wine in the Baudry line up, I recommend holding for a bit more. A thick coating of sediment from the bottom of the cork spreading out along the neck and deep into the shoulder of the bottle. 14.3% alc. With leftover grilled bone-in (beef) ribeyes. 04.21.24. Recommended. |

Soil, plum, the occasional barn note, some sage and forest, etc. Lovely medium/med+ body with exceptional balance and good+ persistence. A joy.
